On International Day of the Girl the Embassy of Sweden in Pakistan celebrated the strength, courage and leadership of girls during a visit to Bassoro in Sindh, underscoring efforts for girls empowerment at the community level.
Zahim, 13, met the Swedish ambassador in Bassoro and shared her dream of becoming a police inspector, inspired by her grandmother. Her story illustrates how when girls are given opportunities to learn and lead they can transform their families and communities.
