Advancing PULSE Project Support in Punjab
The World Bank’s Implementation Support Mission held a wrap-up meeting to evaluate progress on the PULSE Project in Punjab under the chairmanship of Rafaqat Ali, Secretary Planning & Development Board.
The mission, led by Dong Kyu Kwak, Senior Land Administration Specialist and Task Team Leader (PULSE), reviewed overall project progress and discussed key implementation challenges affecting urban land systems enhancement. Participants examined current timelines, resource allocations and priority actions needed to sustain momentum on the PULSE Project.
A significant focus of the meeting was the impact of recent flooding on field operations. Delegates outlined the operational disruptions caused by the floods and considered adjustments to implementation plans and support measures to minimise delays while maintaining safeguards for affected communities.
Secretary Rafaqat Ali stressed the need for coordinated action among provincial teams and development partners to overcome challenges and keep the PULSE Project on track for delivering improved urban land administration outcomes in Punjab.
