Pakistan Urges Action on Gaza Ceasefire Violations

Pakistan has strongly condemned the renewed attacks by Israeli forces in Gaza that have reportedly led to civilian casualties, calling the incidents a serious breach of the recently concluded peace agreement. Islamabad reiterated its concern that continued hostilities endanger the lives of non-combatants and jeopardize fragile efforts toward a sustainable settlement.

These actions, Pakistan says, amount to a flagrant violation of international law and risk undermining ongoing diplomatic attempts to stabilise the region. The government stressed that any resumption of violence threatens broader international endeavours to achieve lasting peace and security for all affected communities.

Pakistan called on the international community to take immediate steps to ensure an end to ceasefire violations and to uphold the terms of the Gaza Ceasefire. Authorities urged prompt and decisive measures to halt further escalation, protect civilians, and restore conditions necessary for humanitarian access and dialogue.

The country reaffirmed its longstanding position in support of an independent, sovereign, viable and contiguous State of Palestine based on the pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. Pakistan said it will continue to press for a political resolution through international fora and to advocate for measures that advance justice, security and a durable peace for the Palestinian people.
