DHO Islamabad Strengthens Primary Healthcare
District Health Officer Islamabad led a coordinated field visit to several health facilities accompanied by the District Population Welfare Officer, an Administrative Officer and the ADPWO to monitor service delivery indicators and check adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
The team focused on assessing the effectiveness of routine operations and measuring progress in primary healthcare delivery, using service delivery indicators as the basis for performance evaluation and accountability.
By verifying SOP compliance at the facility level, officials aimed to reinforce quality controls and ensure that patients receive consistent, reliable care across Islamabad’s primary healthcare network.
This oversight visit highlights ongoing collaboration between health and population welfare authorities to address operational gaps promptly and sustain improvements in primary healthcare services for local communities.
