SSDO Pakistan, with the support of the British High Commission, organised a two-day national dialogue aimed at enhancing Parliamentary Oversight and strengthening institutional capacities for counter terrorism and countering terrorist financing in Pakistan.
The opening ceremony was addressed by the Chief Guest, the Honorable Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa H.E. Faisal Karim Kundi, whose presence marked provincial engagement with national efforts to improve legislative scrutiny and security oversight.
The session featured remarks by the Keynote Speaker, National Coordinator of NACTA H.E. Jawad Dogger, alongside the Security and Justice Counsellor at the British High Commission H.E. Alasdair Grant, focusing on coordinated approaches to counter terrorism and the disruption of terrorist financing channels.
The dialogue sought practical steps to strengthen Parliamentary Oversight while boosting the capacities of institutions tasked with preventing terrorism and combating illicit finance, reflecting collaboration between parliamentary actors, national agencies and international partners.
