Rana Sanaullah Pushes WAPDA Projects Forward
Rana Sanaullah met with WAPDA Chairman Lieutenant General (R) Muhammad Saeed at the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination in Islamabad to address the management of water resources and the advancement of national development initiatives.
The meeting featured a comprehensive review of plans to enhance the country’s water storage capacity and an assessment of ongoing WAPDA projects, focusing on timelines, transparency, and measures to accelerate delivery.
Federal Minister Rana Sanaullah underscored that timely and transparent completion of energy and water-related projects is vital for Pakistan’s progress and emphasised the need for consensus and harmony among all provinces on projects of national importance.
He directed relevant authorities to quicken the pace of work so that benefits from WAPDA projects reach the public at the earliest, and both leaders agreed to strengthen coordination between federal and provincial agencies to ensure effective achievement of national development goals.
