Azhra Tariq Urges Unity in Eid Message

Azhra Tariq, principal of Rawalpindi Public School, extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings and issued an Eid message calling for greater unity, compassion and social responsibility across the country. She reminded citizens that Eid is more than celebration, it is a moment to practise empathy and share blessings with those in need.

In her Eid message she urged people to include the less fortunate in their festivities, to reach out to families, orphans and disadvantaged communities, and to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood within society. She emphasised that collective joy and mutual support form the foundation of social harmony and stability.

Ms Tariq prayed that Allah accepts our ibadat (acts of worship), grants strength to support one another and keeps the nation on the path of righteousness. She expressed hope for continued peace, progress and unity in Pakistan as the country faces ongoing challenges.

Highlighting the role of education and moral values, she said Eid provides an opportunity to teach kindness, tolerance and respect to younger generations. She called on families and schools to instil these values so that compassionate citizens emerge who contribute to national wellbeing.

She also urged the community to use the festive spirit to promote forgiveness, social cohesion and positive action, stressing that true success lies in collective welfare. Ms Tariq concluded her Eid message with prayers for sustained blessings on Pakistan and the wider Muslim Ummah. Ameen.
