Unity Marks Pakistan Day Celebration in Kenya
On March 23, 2026, Pakistan Day was observed with simplicity and dignity at the High Commission for Pakistan in Nairobi. A large number of Pakistanis attended alongside Kenyans of Pakistani origin, representing diverse professions and generations.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and proceeded with the reading of messages from the President, the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister. Senior members of the community offered reflections on the meaning of Pakistan Day and the responsibilities it places on citizens at home and abroad.
In his address the High Commissioner urged the community to remain united, to work toward enhancing the positive image of Pakistan overseas, and to dedicate themselves to upholding the principles on which Pakistan was founded. He highlighted the important role the diaspora plays in fostering goodwill and supporting Pakistan’s development.
The flag-hoisting provided a solemn and proud moment for all present, reinforcing national identity and a collective commitment to service. Attendees reaffirmed their ties to Pakistan and their determination to contribute positively to both their homeland and their host country.
