Nairobi Mission Bids Farewell to Ibrar Hussain Khan
Officers and staff of the Pakistan High Commission in Nairobi held a warm farewell in honour of High Commissioner Ibrar Hussain Khan, recognising his service to Pakistan in Kenya. The ceremony brought together mission officials and members of the Pakistani community to acknowledge a tenure marked by active diplomacy and sustained engagement.
Speakers at the event included Commercial Counsellor Adeela Younis, Defence Attache Col Inam Khatak, and Shoab Mansoor, Head of Chancellery, each reflecting on practical achievements under the High Commissioner’s leadership. A representative of the Pakistani community in Kenya also addressed the gathering, highlighting the mission’s role in strengthening ties between Pakistan and Kenyan partners.
Those present praised Ibrar Hussain Khan for advancing diplomatic outreach, supporting trade initiatives and reinforcing defence cooperation during his posting. The farewell emphasised continuity of Pakistan’s engagement in Kenya and the close relationship between mission staff and the expatriate community.
