Qalandars Star Approves of Sikandar Raza Underpass in Lahore

Pakistan-born Zimbabwean cricketer, Sikandar Raza, recently engaged in a light-hearted social media exchange with one of his fans during the ongoing eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
A Twitter user had shared an edited photo of one of the underpasses in Lahore, renamed as the “Sikandar Raza Underpass,” saying that the entire city wanted to see it.

Raza, who is currently playing for Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, responded to the fan’s tweet, saying, “Not a bad idea at all actually.”
Raza’s recent performances have been noteworthy, with his selection in the Lahore Qalandars team after an impressive performance in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

In a recent match against Islamabad United, the all-rounder scored 23 runs off 10 balls, took two wickets, and conceded only six runs in his two overs.
His contribution helped Lahore Qalandars secure a comfortable 110-run victory against Islamabad United, which propelled them to the top of the points table with eight points.
The defending champions are set to play their sixth encounter against Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 2.
With Raza’s outstanding form, Lahore Qalandars will be hoping to continue their winning streak and maintain their position at the top of the table.
