Pakistan Unity Shines at Independence Day Event in Muzaffarabad

A vibrant event was held in Muzaffarabad as part of the Resilient and Rising Pakistan campaign, highlighting the country’s unity and collective spirit. The campaign is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety, Paigham-e-Pakistan, and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, aiming to commemorate Independence Day and Marka-e-Haq.
Organized by the Hamza Development Foundation under the PPAF-funded Local Area Development Programme in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the celebration brought together 101 participants, including men, women, and youth from the local community. The event featured student speeches and lively tableaux, serving as a powerful reminder of Pakistan’s resilience and the critical role of its people.
Chaudhry Muhammad Rasheed, Minister of the Power Development Organization and the chief guest of the event, paid tribute to the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam, and the sacrifices of national heroes. He urged unity that transcends political differences, praised Pakistan’s strong defense, and expressed steadfast solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
