IBCC Marks Pakistan Independence Day with Flag Hoisting Ceremony

The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony at its Islamabad office, marking the occasion with messages of unity, progress, and youth empowerment. The event was led by IBCC Executive Director Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, who was joined by senior officials including Director General Muhammad Usman Khan and Director Administration Muneeb Javeed.
During the ceremony, State Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar visited the IBCC headquarters to take part in the festivities. She joined staff members in a cake-cutting ceremony and participated in a tree-planting initiative, symbolizing the organization’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
In a message recorded for the IBCC podcast, Minister Qamar highlighted the critical role young people play in shaping Pakistan’s future. She encouraged youth participation in the “Uran Pakistan” program, a government initiative designed to engage young Pakistanis across all sectors of society. She also reinforced the government’s ongoing efforts to empower and equip the nation’s youth, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision for a prosperous and progressive country.
Dr. Mallah also contributed to the green initiative by planting a palm tree sapling, representing growth and resilience. Addressing the youth of Pakistan, he called on them to pursue their dreams, work diligently, and adhere to noble values. Dr. Mallah urged young Pakistanis to strive for a nation that not only fosters national pride but also serves as a model for others around the world.
The celebrations reflected both the significance of Independence Day and the commitment of IBCC and government leaders to inspire the next generation toward national development and environmental responsibility.
