Pakistan Independence Celebrated in Tashkent with Rally Participants

MNA Syed Rafiullah, Convener of the Pakistan–Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, participated in Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tashkent. The event brought together a large gathering of Pakistani expatriates living in Uzbekistan and participants from the Central Asia Rally–2025.
The ceremony began with a flag-hoisting led by Ambassador Ahmed Farooq. Official messages from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were presented to those in attendance, reflecting on the significance of the country’s independence. Key speeches were delivered by the Ambassador, MNA Syed Rafiullah, and the leader of the Central Asia Rally–2025 motorcyclists, each highlighting different aspects of the country’s progress and the importance of unity among Pakistanis.
Akhter Amin, representing the local Pakistani community, shared heartfelt reflections on the importance of the day. In his address, Syed Rafiullah paid homage to Pakistan’s history, emphasizing that national unity has always empowered Pakistan to overcome challenges.
The celebration concluded as Ambassador Farooq handed out certificates to the Central Asia Rally–2025 participants, recognizing their journey from Lahore to Uzbekistan by road and their role in connecting the two nations.
